live blue Service Corps Orientation
This program was built in flexibility; you only sign up for the service events in which you're interested and for which you have the time. To join the Service Corps, all you need to do is attend a single one-hour orientation at the New England Aquarium! You can create a NEAq volunteer profile and select "live blue Service Corps" as the type of position you are applying for. You can then sign up for an orientation on our calendar or using the list below!
At this orientation, you will meet fellow volunteers, learn about the type of work you can expect as a Corps member, and get an overview of how this work connects to the Aquarium's mission. Once complete, you will be able to sign up for projects on our calendar and will receive periodic updates from us concerning upcoming projects and opportunities.
After attending the orientation you'll be able to sign up for any and all live blue Service Corps projects posted on our calendar.
[Note that if you are interested in a more committed program, namely those in animal care and education, please visit serve.neaq.org/ClassicCorps to read about the application process]
Are you already an active volunteer or intern at the Aquarium? Then you can skip the orientation and sign-up for events on our calendar!
