Applications are accepted for four cycles (Spring, Summer, Fall, and January Term), subject to position availability. Prior to applying, please review the application dates for each cycle, as well as position availability, which can be found by clicking on individual position descriptions under the Intern/Extern tab.
To submit an application, please click on the position of interest; at the bottom, there will be a link to apply. You may apply to up to three positions, so please thoroughly explore your options prior to completing an application in order to ensure appropriate eligibility and availability.

If selected, we will contact you to set up an in-person interview with the Volunteer Programs and Internships Office. Second round interviews will be determined following initial interviews and will be led by department supervisors.

Important Things to Know:

Most positions require a consistent commitment of three to four days per week for 12-16 weeks, depending on departmental need.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

While our internships are primarily designed for University level individuals, non-student applicants with relative experience and passion are welcome to apply. Unfortunately, we are generally unable to accept high school applicants.

Applicants are required to submit a resume, cover letter, and unofficial school transcript. Letters of recommendation are not required, but may be submitted to intern@neaq.org.
