Volunteers in Action Photographer

Do you enjoy photography and want to help support the Aquarium's mission? We rely on the help of a team of experienced volunteer photographers to capture our volunteers and interns in action throughout the year. These photographs will be used to recognize their hard work (over 60,000 hours each year!) during Global Volunteer Appreciation Month (in April!) and our annual appreciation party (in October!)

Timing is flexible - we're looking for at least 2 hours in the morning, mid-day, or afternoon, or all day - anytime we have volunteers and interns on site! VIA Photographers are welcome to sign up for as many shifts as they would like. After your first shift, you will receive a schedule of times to target specific departments. Priority will be given to applicants that can come in for at least three shifts of various days and times

To be considered for this position, email vols@neaq.org with a small portfolio (3-4 photos is plenty!) and the subject "Volunteers in Action Photographer," along with at least two dates and times you would like to come in. If you are selected, we will be in touch about next steps.
