2024 marked a big year for our live blue Service Corps Skills programs. The Quincy Commissary Skills position welcomed its second and third cohorts; Turtle Emergency Response had another successful season; we re-launched our Marine Mammal Educator program; and we launched a new position: the Penguin Wellbeing Monitor.
At Voluntern 2024, we brought back our LBSC Skills Award. The winner this year demonstrated exceptional dedication to the Quincy Commissary position, more than tripling their minimum commitment by attending over 20 shifts.
