At Voluntern 2016, the winners were:

The "Deep Blue" award was given to Robert Cuddi. Rob helps the Corps clean Revere Beach almost every month, chasing down plastic bags and teaching the public about the environmental impacts of this trash. He’s also spent another 60 hours or so supporting our turtle rescue and rehab team in Quincy, showing true dedication to the protection of sea turtles.

The "Watershed Award" was given to Linda Carr. Linda has cleaned the rocky coast of Gloucester, restored the dunes of Crane Beach, educated kids at Festivals, tackles invasive plants on the Islands, and helps the turtle rescue team down in Quincy, just to name a few. Her dedication, flexibility, knowledge, and general positive energy help make the Service Corps a success.

The "Service Leader of the Year" for 2016 was Sharon Lowe. Sharon has consistently led projects on the Harbor Islands, participated in events here at the Aquarium, and maintains great relationships with our partner agencies so she can plan and lead projects of her own. She brings great, contagious enthusiasm into her role, making her an effective leader for any project she's a part of.
