HUBWeek Open Doors at NEAq: Photographers
On October 8-9, HUBweek hosts Open Doors: a series of behind-the-scenes experiences designed to connect you to the most innovative and creative organizations in Greater Boston. From a drone zoo and marine research boat cruise to waterfog sculpture and biolabs tours, this year’s Open Doors sessions are as diverse as the organizations who are hosting ‘em.
The New England Aquarium team is seeking volunteers to assist during our HUBweek event on Monday, October 8th, from 5:30pm until around 8:00pm. The event is a series of lightning talks within the Aquarium exhibits that will highlight our research, conservation, and education work.
Our topics include:
Technology: How High-Tech Tags are Revealing the Secret Lives of Sharks, featuring Dr. Nick Whitney and Dr. Jeff Kneebone
Collaboration: Right Whale, Right Gear, featuring Dr. Amy Knowlton
Communication: Changing the Narrative on Climate Change, featuring Dr. Billy Spitzer & Lindsay Jordan
Three volunteers are needed to take pictures of groups as they participate in the event. Volunteers will need to provide their own camera (or high quality phone).
