World Oceans Day Festival
World Ocean Day is a celebration of the ocean and a reminder of the vital role it plays in our daily lives. During our celebration, we will come together with our broader community of conservation and highlight ocean champions that take positive action for the ocean every day. We believe that by working collaboratively with members of our science, government, business, and local communities, we can ensure a healthier future for our blue planet. This year we are aiming to expand our offerings and partners, and invite our community members to join us in celebrating and protecting our ocean.
We are looking for some additional helpers to support both a variety of programming happening from that day, and with set-up and breakdown. Most positions will be on the aquarium plaza or in the Harbor View Terrace tent. If you are interested in helping with activities that day, please sign up for your preferred time below!
- 10:00 am-1:00 pm Activity shift
- 1:00-4:00 pm Activity shift
- 2:00-5:00 pm Activity & Breakdown shift
**Please note, we will attempt to honor activity preference, but may need to adjust placement based on need. Thank you!
