Shorebird Nesting Site Cleanup

Shorebirds are returning to Massachusetts coastlines, and it's up to us to make sure they have clean, safe sites to breed and nest!

Every spring, piping plovers and other shorebirds return to New England beaches to create nests and rear their young. For this project, we will be supporting MA DCR to clean around known nesting sites of shorebirds before they return from their summer migration. Come prepared to spend the day on a windy beach removing trash from sand dunes and surrounding areas!
