Field Day with Marblehead Conservancy

Founded in 2001, the mission of the Marblehead Conservancy is to protect, acquire, and enhance Marblehead’s natural resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the public. In keeping with its mission, the Conservancy’s early efforts focused on two primary areas: the restoration of access to and through public natural open spaces and working to secure additional open space through land acquisition and conservation restrictions on private property. Service Corps volunteers will help with habitat needs that vary site to site. On August 11th, we will be working at Robinson Farm to clear areas of brush and bramble, cutting back overgrowth and clearing land for trees. Tools will be provided, but come prepared with layers to protect against thorns and ivy!
