Appleton Farms Bluebird Project
Appleton Farms in Ipswich is a property of the Trustees of Reservation and home to grazing cows, sheeps, goats, chicken and come early Spring, Eastern Bluebirds.
Stretched across the 1000 acres of Appleton Farms, Bluebird nest boxes are pirched on fence posts, a welcoming location for the Bluebirds as well as predators. In an effort to limit predation for the Bluebird season, each nest box will be relocated from fence posts to metal poles. This project will be the first step in the efforts to better the environment for bluebirds at the farm and you can help make it happen!
