Effective and lasting wildlife conservation depends upon informed and passionate people who work to protect the rare species that live in their neighborhoods. At GWC, we recognize that compassionate human neighbors often make up one of the most important habitat requirements for rare and vulnerable animal and plant populations in the 21’st Century. All of us, in cities, suburbs, and wilderness areas alike, live near other species that can benefit from our help. And, we can all can take part, if we choose, in helping make sure that human generations to come will find the world as blessed with natural diversity and wonder as we do today.
