Every year, the Office of Volunteer Programs and Internships asks the volunteer community to submit their nominations for the Supervisor of the Year. These nominations include stories on how their supervisor has gone above and beyond for their team to provide an exemplary volunteer experience.

The Volunteer Office assesses the quantity and quality of these nominations to chose the award winner. At Voluntern, the winner is announced and given a $100 gift card.

The 2017 Supervisor of the Year was Kim Cummings, Marine Mammals Department.
