Wildlife Garden Team

Gardeners of East Boston (and surrounding neighborhoods) wanted!

We are planning to plant wildflowers, grasses, trees, and shrubs to benefit native birds, bees, butterflies, and moths at DCR’s Belle Isle Marsh Reservation in East Boston, based on preferences of local residents. Come to our first planning meetings to learn more about the project and how you can be involved. No prior experience gardening is needed and this meeting is open to both volunteers and local residents.

Please bring at least one gardening idea that saves time, energy, or finances. For example: paper egg cartons can be used to start seedlings from seeds.
