Blanding's Turtle Habitat Planting and Restoration

The Service Corps spends a lot of time removing invasive plants. Now here is your chance to restore some native ones! Through this project, you can help create habitat for state-threatened turtles!

We will be working with Grassroots Wildlife Conservation in Concord, MA, to plant native species that will benefit the local Blandings Turtle population. Volunteers will demarcate small (ca. 3 foot diameter) planting areas, pull weeds, plant seedlings, and lay down mulch.
